Love Her Madly boutique creates classic modernist womenswear, and we are happy to announce that they are showing at LondonEdge in September for the first time. Inspired by Sixties design, they hand make bespoke dresses in range of styles – the ultimate in made to measure vintage couture. All dresses are hand made by seamstress and entrepreneur Melanie James, from a converted studio in Braunstone, using a vintage Frister and Rossmann sewing machine.
Every dress is carefully designed to be true to that 60’s flair, and is named accordingly – we love the black and white collared Wendy and the striped Rita. Each dress can be made in sizes 6 – 18 on request, so you know you’re getting a handmade garment with loads of attention to detail.

Melanie uses a colour palette of predominantly black, white, red & navy and uses original 60's patterns. She takes lots of inspiration from music videos and footage from Carnaby Street during that era and that's clear in her authentic designs.
After a hugely successful year selling their Modette dresses online, they're now expanding into stores across the UK and beyond and are now stocked in over a dozen venues including Sherry's Carnaby Street, Mod One, Mod For It and various retro boutiques in Japan. You can see their latest collections at the show in September on Stand G23.
