September Show Round-Up




So the dust has finally settled on the 34th LondonEdge tradeshow – and what a show it was. 

What with a brand new catwalk production, a superb seminar programme, yet another sell-out show party and the best EVER influencers gathering, we’re delighted to say it was a successful one.


Feedback from brands, bloggers, vloggers, retailers and influencer friends and partners is already looking fantastic, with lots of business, press and positive results!


We had a 31% international attendance from 25 countries this season. Buyers joined us from all over Europe, Australia, America and beyond. We continued our efforts to maintain and grow our international presence to buyers and retailers, and it’s great to see this has paid off.

We had a positive reaction to our developments at the show itself too – we were back at the BDC to high acclaim, and had brands arranged over 3 split levels. Our brand new catwalk production team, Production Element, has revolutionised the catwalk shows – we had choreographed, fashion-forward, beautifully styled shows all day every day, showcasing the best Edge has to offer as well as our brand new ‘Stylists Edit’.


Our packed seminar schedule really brought something extra this season, and every seminar had full attendance. We heard from such a mixture of people and purposes; amazing charity work from The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, Dazed & Confused talking about Dark Fashion on the catwalk, marketing expertise from Kate Beavis, Tish & Snooky’s Manic Panic celebrating their 40th year, Dr. Matt Lodder’s take on the history of tattooing and finally the Department of International Trade offering export help & advise. 


Thank you as usual to all of our exhibitors, visitors and everyone who works tirelessly to make the show the continuing success it is! As you may have heard, we’re shaking things up a bit in February, so keep your eyes peeled for further info, and we’ll see you then next season!
