Summer is here with The House of Foxy

By Kate Beavis

Summer is here (we promise) although it is slightly changeable right now! However, we will not let that dampen our spirits and neither will The House of Foxy with their summer prints ready for you all. So, to brighten your days– here are some of our favourite designs available now.

The Amber Rose print adorns a few styles; firstly the 1940s sarong dress which is based on a wartime American style. This design is perfect for a summer wedding or for you to look sassy on your holiday. Make sure you choose the matching bolero too, to finish the look.

If yellow isn’t your thing, how about this navy floral beach pyjama set? Based on the popular designs from the late 1920s/1930s, this outfit echoes the more relaxed styles worn by women at the time. With wide leg trousers which flatter everyone and a tie neckline, loungewear has never looked so chic.

Get through the long days at the office, waiting for the weekend, in their 1940s inspired Peggy Sue dress. This is typical of the late 1940s where women were experimenting with a slightly fuller skirt after seeing Dior’s New Look collection. This dress is floaty and light weight, yet still smart enough for work.

Finally, embrace the nautical look with the Doris dress; the perfect dress for the 1950s fan. The navy and white combination is a classic British summer look and this dress is packed with original details from the top stitch detailing to the way it gathers under the bust for a flattering finish.

It also comes in the classic 50s/60s fit and flare dress with possibly the BEST cropped jacket (perfect for the chilly spells).

Now all we need is a picnic!
