Plus Size Clothing in Retro Fashion
At LondonEdge vintage inspired fashion has always been a major part of the show, and a big pull for visitors. From Collectif to Hellbunny’s vintage inspired designs, to authentic reproduction vintage from Freddies of Pineweood or Seamstress of Bloomsbury, and so many accessories and footwear companies in between, we aim to cover all elements of retro fashion at the show.
In the past seasons, we have found also seen an increase in Plus Size presence at the LondonEdge, with many brands expanding their size ranges, or developing special plus size ranges. Many of our fabulous bloggers specialise in plus size fashion, and often we find their style choices errs towards retro and vintage fashions – and so we found ourselves considering, why do clothes influenced by the 1950's continue to attract many women over a dress size 14?
